Getting Started

Come with a phone, laptop, instrument, voice, or just yourself. We'll help you get connected. You can listen. You can play. You can move between both.

Enter Session →

Choose the closest version of you

"I don't play music" Enter the session on your phone. Open Jam and try Touch Harp or Drone. You can't play wrong notes.
"I just want to listen" You can listen and move around the room or sit or stand wherever you'd like. Enter the session if you're curious, but there's no pressure to play.
"I sing" Enter the session and sing along with the harmony. All microphones in the room run through Auto-Tune subscribed to the current harmonic state, so your voice snaps to the scale.
"I play guitar or bass" Bring your instrument. Open Read and choose Tablature or Notation.
"I play strings, winds, brass, etc." Bring your instrument. Open Read and choose Notation, or follow by ear.
"I don't read music" Open Read and choose Tablature.
"I read music" Open Read and choose Notation.
"I make electronic music" Bring your laptop. Open MIDI to send the harmony into your DAW or synth.
"I use Ableton / Logic / Bitwig / Reaper" Open MIDI and see Connect Your Instruments before the event.
"I write code to make music" Open Code and connect Strudel. Your code receives the current scale and chord.
"I have modular or hardware synths" See Connect Your Instruments. Email if you want amplification.
"I'm bringing nothing" Totally fine. Walk in, listen, explore. If something catches your attention, scan the QR code and try it.
"I'm nervous" Start by listening. Wander, watch what others are doing, join when ready. Nobody is put on the spot.
"I'm experienced" Listen first, then jump in.
